The recent developments and the speed of construction in cities and the subsequent disorder in the appearance of urban spaces require a more careful look at the issue of the urban landscape and at a smaller level the issue of the urban landscape. In order to provide solutions for improving the quality of facades of residential buildings, Tehran city was chosen due to the experience of forming facade committees in the last decade in the municipal structure. According to the level of effectiveness and performance, the effective actors were classified into two categories: urban management (decision-making, decision-making, and executive) and inclusive stakeholders (land, design, construction, public). Research data were identified, coded and analyzed using qualitative content analysis method with inductive approach and semi-structured in-depth interviews with influential people (urban management category). Therefore, the axes hidden in the text, the emphasized topics, the most used terms, the causes, the contexts and the current conditions of facade management and its improvement solutions were obtained from each of the interviews and by showing the hidden systems and recurring patterns. Conceptual models and maps were created. The analysis of the results determined the factors affecting the appearance of residential buildings in the order of importance including "documentary", "management and legal", "social", "design (designers)", "technology", "theoretical", "economic" and "executive". and the solutions for improving facade quality include a hierarchical structure with the aim of providing key information to effective groups (actors) and based on a broad perspective of criteria.

For this purpose, the qualitative findings of previous studies were analyzed using Meta analyses method. The population of the study consisted of articles, books, and theses published and recorded in reputable domestic and foreign databases from 2000 to 2024. Finally, the thematic network based on research was presented in the three dimensions of essence, argument and quality of conflict management. Based on the findings, conflict in protected areas is often at the inter-group and inter-organizational levels. The legal context for intervention in the process of providing suitable housing in the cities of the country is the development plans, which at different scales (from national to local level) should systematically and integrated include the policies of providing suitable housing; and through the rule of law, guarantee its executive. In this research, an attempt has been made by narrative review through critical view, to what and how of the relationship between housing planning and policy-making and development plans in the research conducted in Iranian cities. The results after examining 27 selected scientific-research articles indicate that in the conducted researches, a correct understanding of the concept of suitable housing is rarely included; The methodology and method of measurement is purely quantitative and based on the technocrat's view and cannot represent the real housing situation; Paying attention to the spatial arena of metropolises, especially the city of Tehran, and only paying attention to the relationship between housing and development plans in the last decade is a sign of neglecting other spatial and temporal dimensions of the country. And finally, the lack of attention to macro-structures affecting housing from the point of view of political-economy of space is evident in the researches.

The explanation of the results of "Spatial plans" as a product of spatial planning in relation to "Settlements sustainability " as a product of sustainable development in "less developed regions" is a serious problem. This is important in theoretical and scientific fields with through new approaches. Considering the simplicity of the sustainability, in this research, the focus of economics with RBM approach is considered. The main goal is quality of settlements sustainability feasibility by emphasizing economic growth and sustainable employment through provincial spatial plans in less developed regions. The research design is a sequential combination (explanatory-exploratory); And the combined qualitative-quantitative-qualitative method will be done in two phases; In the first phase, with a document review of previous researches, the pillars and factors of the settlements sustainability were extracted. In the next phase, the validity of the pillars and factors as well as their interrelationship; and their content and practical reflection in the documents of the provinces spatial plans of the less developed regions selected for the research (four provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan, Kerman, Ilam and Khuzestan) through semi-structured interviews with experts via the summative content analysis was analyzed. The results show a justified correspondence between the spatial levels and the settlements sustainability factors, with the nature of the three levels of output, outcome and effect. As the spatial level of the settlements increases, the penetration of the results of the development plans decreases over time, and tends from "effect" to "output".

Over the past few decades, the metropolis of Isfahan has accelerated the process of unsustainable development with its excessive physical development, industrial development, service costs, air pollution, marginalization, etc., which requires attention to development indicators and trends. It requires the axis in the field of sustainability. Prosperity has indicators that affect social stability as one of the pillars of sustainable development. Foresight is a process that leads to a sustainable outcome of planning practice. This research has analyzed the components of urban prosperity in the metropolis of Isfahan by using the cross-effects analysis technique as well as Mic Mac and Scenario Wizard software. First, by studying the available documents, the effective factors in urban prosperity were investigated and 66 components were extracted as indicators of urban prosperity using the Delphi method. The results of Mik Mak show that the metropolis of Isfahan has an unstable system. Finally, after examining the influence of these factors on each other and also on the future situation of Isfahan metropolis, 14 key factors were selected and 42 different possible situations were considered on the key factors in the scenario wizard software. The results show that 3 scenarios are more compatible in the future urban prosperity of Isfahan metropolis. The first scenario contains ideal conditions, scenario number 2, a relatively favorable scenario, and scenario number 3, a critical and unfavorable situation for the future urban prosperity of Isfahan metropolis, which makes this scenario more feasible in the future.

AbstractThe ever-growing expansion of cities and traffic on the one hand and the development of new technologies on the other hand made countries face new challenges. Old institutions and management methods are in conflict with the complex and rapidly changing world which in response, planners are trying to create models for the development of 21st century cities with integrated view in order to respond new expectations. Development of a smart city is one, which is the pivot of transformation and development of the third millennium. Urban transportation is one of the areas affected by the new information and communication technology as such the Internet of Things (IoT).This paper is a kind of applied research, yet with respect to information gathering and analysis is descriptive-analytical. Through conducting qualitative analysis, using an open-ended questionnaire the components and the influential and then a closed questionnaire designed and with the purposeful sampling method using the snowball technique, data was collected in 177 samples were collected from the statistical population area. Findings of this research depicting many problems that Tabriz, as a metropolises faces in the field of intelligent intra-city transportation, realization of which encounter many challenges and obstacles, including the weakness of integrated urban management, lack of a clear vision, weak planning, lack of financial resources, lack of relevant organizational structures, lack of intelligent systems based on the Internet of Things and the use of heterogeneous systems, lack of familiarity with intelligent systems based on the Internet of Things, etc. are facing.

Design for Social Innovation (DfSI) has emerged as a potent approach to tackle complex social issues and foster sustainable community development globally. This paper synthesizes findings from a comprehensive analysis of fourteen DfSI initiatives, through diverse approaches and participatory processes, address complex social issues including social cohesion, economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, and health and well-being. The study employs qualitative research methods, including thematic analysis and comparative case study analysis. Data were collected from project documentation and seminal articles, providing a comprehensive understanding of the multifaceted impacts of DfSI across various global contexts. Key findings highlight the effectiveness of human-centered design and robust community engagement mechanisms in achieving sustainable outcomes. Projects demonstrated significant impacts such as strengthened social ties, enhanced environmental stewardship, improved health outcomes, and boosted local economies through entrepreneurial activities. This paper contributes to scientific knowledge by providing insights into the transformative potential of DfSI in addressing diverse societal challenges. It emphasizes the importance of adaptive strategies, collaborative partnerships, and scalable models for advancing sustainable community development through design-driven approaches. The paper concludes with recommendations for advancing DfSI research and practice to enhance scalability, inclusivity, and long-term impact.
