The abundance of research on automobile studies, the dispersion of results, the interdisciplinary nature of the relationship between the automobile as a new technological artifact and the various dimensions of the social system, reveal the necessity of critical reading of relevant articles to achieve the adequacy and deficiencies of studies with consideration to the theoretical approaches of the sociology of technology. The aim of the research is to describe the dimensions of domestic automobile-related studies in the fields of social sciences and art from 2003 to 2024 in terms of multiple components. 26 related articles were selected from 893 articles indexed in Iranian scientific databases based on inclusion criteria. The selected articled were explored under matrix and thematic analysis methods. According to the results, many articles were written under the requirements of the survey approach and secondary data analysis either in data gathering or data investigation. Playing with a set of urban police-oriented variables as independent and dependent variables was a common featue of the explored articles. In addition, in a very limited number of articles, the formulation of the automobile issue in Iran has been explored from the perspective of environmental, psycho-health, social, cultural, and political considerations, ignoring recent theoretical perspectives in technology studies such as the actor-network and, conversely, being limited to pathological orientations, under the paradigm of technological determinism. Furthermore, the lack of attention to the requirements of the qualitative research paradigm is considered as the most central omission of existing studies in terms of methodology.

The recent developments and the speed of construction in cities and the subsequent disorder in the appearance of urban spaces require a more careful look at the issue of the urban landscape and at a smaller level the issue of the urban landscape.In order to provide solutions for improving the quality of facades of residential buildings, Tehran city was chosen due to the experience of forming facade committees in the last decade in the municipal structure. According to the level of effectiveness and performance, the effective actors were classified into two categories: urban management (decision-making, decision-making, and executive) and inclusive stakeholders (land, design, construction, public). Research data were identified, coded and analyzed using qualitative content analysis method with inductive approach and semi-structured in-depth interviews with influential people (urban management category). Therefore, the axes hidden in the text, the emphasized topics, the most used terms, the causes, the contexts and the current conditions of facade management and its improvement solutions were obtained from each of the interviews and by showing the hidden systems and recurring patterns. Conceptual models and maps were created.The analysis of the results determined the factors affecting the appearance of residential buildings in the order of importance including "documentary", "management and legal", "social", "design (designers)", "technology", "theoretical", "economic" and "executive". and the solutions for improving facade quality include a hierarchical structure with the aim of providing key information to effective groups (actors) and based on a broad perspective of criteria.

In the era of globalization and increasing competition between cities to attract investment, tourists, elites, and human resources, city branding has become a strategic and vital tool. The aim of this research is to extract the concept of city brand using data from social networks. The subject of the research is the brand of the city of Isfahan, which is famous among tourists in half the world and has recently been selected as the capital of Islamic culture and civilization of Iran. This research is developmental-applied in terms of its purpose and exploratory in terms of its nature and method. Data related to hashtags used with the city of Isfahan as the centerpiece on the Instagram network and using the hashtag "#Isfahan". Two methods of descriptive statistics and semantic network analysis were used to analyze the research data with a three-stage approach of definition, measurement, and visualization. The results of clustering related concepts showed that Isfahan's urban brand consisted of six clusters of related and intertwined concepts, which were named as "Tourist Places and Attractions", "Old Isfahan", "Neighboring Neighborhoods and Cities", "Social Description of the City and People", "Business", and "Art of Isfahan". Identifying conceptual clusters related to Isfahan's urban brand helps policymakers and urban managers to make more accurate plans for the development and marketing of these sectors. The results of this study can also be used as a strategic map for planning and implementing urban, tourism, and social development policies in Isfahan.

The bazaar holds a special position in the Iranian city, functioning not only as the heart of the city but also as a reflection of the social, cultural, and economic dimensions of urban life. It serves as the backbone of the city's physical structure, connecting neighborhoods and urban spaces. Historically, it has structured the city's physical form, but modern urban lifestyles have changed its role.This research analyzes the bazaar's role in shaping the city's form and its impact on urban cohesion. The central question is: How does the bazaar contribute to urban form cohesion, and what would occur if it were removed from the historical core and its neighborhoods?This study re-evaluates the bazaar's role in Kerman's historical neighborhoods using space syntax analysis and Urban Network Analysis to assess physical cohesion and its position in the Iranian city.The results demonstrate that Kerman’s bazaar enhances the relationship between mass and space, promoting integration and connectivity, which is vital for the city's cohesion. Its removal would decrease network efficiency and increase spatial fragmentation. Neighborhood centers near the bazaar remained cohesive despite its absence. The bazaar's spatial connectivity is key to maintaining the city's structural integrity, making it essential for Kerman's historical identity. Strengthening the bazaar as a self-organizing system will support the growth and development of the city and its neighborhoods.

The urban governance framework is considered one of the most recent approaches in the field of urban regeneration management. Given the diversity of stakeholders and the complexity of relationships between public institutions and local communities in urban regeneration, local governance plays an important role in managing interactions among various stakeholders. Local institutions provide a suitable platform for these communications. The aim of the present study is to analyze the role of Tehran city’s neighborhood development offices in the urban regeneration governance framework. This study is based on a qualitative methodology and was conducted using qualitative content analysis. The research data were obtained through the content analysis of relevant documents and laws, as well as 22 in-depth semi-structured interviews with stakeholders in the field of regeneration in Tehran at different levels. The results of the study show that Tehran city’s neighborhood development offices play a key role in five main areas: mediating between different actors, facilitating residents' participation, empowering residents, providing context-based approaches, and offering political leadership. Although the offices are backed by strong legal frameworks, the implementation of these laws faces challenges. Considering these challenges, three factors significantly impact the effectiveness of these offices in the regeneration process: social awareness and the levels of residents' demands, managerial changes and approaches at macro levels, and the dynamism and creativity of office managers in Implementing the Service Description.

Fragmentation and reduction of ecological function in urban areas are important threats to the protection of valuable ecological resources, and effective strategies to control land fragmentation and destruction in these areas require the identification of ecological resources and biological functions. Accordingly, the present study identified sensitive and ecological resources and prepared an ecological network map in the Tehran-Alborz urban complex. Then the continuity of biological function in this complex was examined. According to the results, the most important sensitive and ecological resources in this urban complex include protected areas, including national parks, national natural monuments, protected areas, wildlife refuges, no-hunting areas, and forest conservation reserves. Also, the northern and northeastern regions of the region, which have a greater distribution of protected areas and biological reserves, have higher ecological importance and greater biological sensitivity to urbanization and the development of human activities. Also, the analysis of ecological performance and continuity in the Tehran-Alborz urban set indicates that between 1379 and 1402, ecological continuity in this region has decreased. Given that the network of biologically sensitive areas in the Tehran-Alborz urban set is of great importance, it is essential to plan and provide appropriate tools to reduce the effects of urban development and the threats arising from it. Likewise, the results of this analysis can, as a management strategy, help in proper protection and planning in line with the development of human activities and the subsequent environmental risks and consequences.
